I have noticed that the bugs, requests, and patches in the Bug Tracker at http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=193283 do not get assigned, or receive any comments from the Smith development team.

Is anyone watching this Bug Tracker?

I certainly understand that it takes time before anything gets done with these reports, but the lack of acknowledgment might discourage open-source contributers.
That would be regrettable, because an enthusiastic open-source community could be Smith's big advantage over other CFML servers.

well its not. the only problem we have at the moment is ressources. but we are really working on it....
