Hi!

I am not very familiar with coldfusion server, to start with.

I currently have coldfusion developer edition installed on windows XP with IIS. I have it in order to transmit data to an MS Access database.

I read this tutorial:

http://www.adobe.com/devnet/captivate/articles/store_cpresults_print.htm

which is what got me to try the developer edition..

I can't seem to find anything similar when searching the forums..

I would like to move all of that from the current XP/IIS machine to another machine I have running Hardy Heron Server (ubunutu , apache, mysql, and php.

Do you know of any other posts similar to this that you could link me to for guidance? or tell me whether the smith project will be right for me or not?

Thank you very much in advanace for any help.

-Jeremy

EDIT: I did read the "Windows/IIS to UNIX/Smith" thread, but am still unsure if that would apply to me..

No responses? This is fairly urgent. I need to find a solution to implement over the weekend... I may have to have my company just purchase a $1k license for CF server Really don't want to do that.....

Thanks in advance for ANY help!!

While I think smith is a cool product and I hope it comes along fine. If you want a more complete CFML server for free try openBlueDragon http://www.openbluedragon.org/
